Francis Morgan

Francis Morgan, DDS

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Francis grew up in Maryland and found his passion for the dental field in high school when he enrolled in a dental assisting course. While working as a general, oral surgery, and pediatric dental assistant, he graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Salisbury University. During this time, he was also known as Sammy the Seagull, Salisbury University’s mascot.

Dr. Francis received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. where he excelled in multiple areas such as Fixed Prosthodontics, Dental Radiology, and Pediatric Dentistry. During this time, he participated in multiple mission trips with organizations like Remote Area Medical and Missions of Mercy, delivering free dental care to underserved populations. After earning his DDS degree in 2022, he completed a Pediatric Dentistry residency in 2024 at the same institution.

Dr. Francis’s treatment goals are known for making dental visits fun and stress-free, but also educating patients and families on the importance of proper oral hygiene. He sings Disney songs, tells tales of “sugar bugs,” and ensures kids leave with smiles (and giggles).

When not in a clinical setting Dr. Francis holds leadership roles in dental organizations such as  the Maryland State Dental Association, Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Frederick Dental Society. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

When not at work, he explores D.C., stays active with workouts and kickball, and visits his pet horse (Magic) and goat (Tootsie) on his parent’s farm.
